I am excited to share that I will join the Laboratory of Metal Physics and Technology (LMPT) at ETH Zürich in October 2026 as a Postdoctoral Researcher, working with Prof. Jörg F. Löffler.

Looking Ahead

At ETH Zürich, I will build on my background in physical metallurgy, defect engineering, non-equilibrium processing, and advanced characterization while expanding into new materials systems and research questions.

I am particularly interested in understanding how atomic-scale defects, chemistry, interfaces, and microstructure evolve under non-equilibrium conditions and demanding environments, and how these mechanisms can be deliberately engineered to improve material performance.

This next phase will also provide an opportunity to deepen my experience with advanced characterization methods and explore new directions in defect and vacancy engineering, extreme-environment materials, and metallic materials design.
