Starting My Postdoctoral Research at ETH Zürich

🇨🇭 Starting My Postdoctoral Research at ETH Zürich

I am delighted to share that I have started as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Laboratory of Metal Physics and Technology (LMPT) at ETH Zürich, working with Prof. Jörg F. Löffler.

Looking Ahead

At ETH Zürich, I am building on my background in physical metallurgy, non-equilibrium processing, microstructure–property relationships, and advanced materials characterization while exploring new research directions.

My research will focus on understanding how atomic-scale defects and local structure evolve in crystalline alloys and metallic glasses, particularly under irradiation and other non-equilibrium conditions. I am interested in connecting these changes to material properties and exploring how vacancies and free volume can be engineered to improve performance.

I also look forward to developing new experimental capabilities, learning from colleagues, and pursuing collaborative research across materials science.
