I am honored to be a co-recipient of the LMD Magnesium Technology Award – Student Paper from The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) for our work presented at the TMS 2026 Annual Meeting & Exhibition.

Paper: “Disentangling the Effects of Cyclic Mechanical Loading and Corrosion on the Degradation of Braided Magnesium Alloy Stents”

The work examines the combined effects of cyclic mechanical loading and corrosion on the degradation of braided magnesium alloy stents, an important consideration in the development of biodegradable metallic implants.
